We provide direct services to survivors of human trafficking, including identification of risk factors and vulnerabilities, coordination with community partners and intensive case management. Also please note services are available with the assistance of interpreters or translators if needed. Direct support includes assisting individuals with:
- Applications to obtain basic needs such as income and housing (ex. OW, ODSP, CHR, etc.)
- Language translation and interpretation
- Referrals to appropriate counsel for legal advice or possible representation, including immigration matters
- Orientation and referral to local social services including shelter and long-term housing, addiction treatment, as well as medical and mental health services
- Clothing and food
- Skills development
- Accompany and support individuals going through the criminal court process or who are working with law enforcement
- Counselling to address trauma
